Protoripoda ornata sp.n. Measurements. - Length: 396 um, width: 212 um. Prodorsum: Rostrum widely conical. Rostral and lamellar setae curving inwards, latter slightly longer than the others, both pairs setiform. Interlamellar setae blunt at tip (Fig. 21). All prodorsal setae well ciliate. Sensillus clavate, partly covered by notogaster. Prodorsal surface with the exception of the basal part - with a black secretion layer. Notogaster: Its surface also covered by secretion, consisting of blackish granules forming polygonal reticulation (Fig. 24). Ten pairs of long, strong setiform notogastral setae present. Sacculi not observable. Pteromorphae triangular in lateral view (Fig. 23). Gnathosoma: Mentum and basal part of genae irregularly foveolate.
