Fig. 2. Setodes fragilis sp. n. - A. Male genitalia lateral, B. dorsal, C. ventral, D. aedeagus lateral, E. dorsal, F. wings vestigial superior appendages appear to be present. Inferior appendages very short but producing upward relatively long tapering digitiform processes. Phallix apparatus arched in lateral view with a pair of rather stout and long parameres. Aedeagus is very peculiarly formed with a pair of broadened dorsal flang, a pair of more pigmented long middle band and with a very Jong single, acicular median ventral process in dorsal view. The new Setodes species has a very curiously formed ninth sternite with its bilobed ventral median processes. In the Oriental region similarly produced ninth sternite is found only in Setodes unispina Martynov, 1936 but with only a single median s~>ine-like process. Similar but more stout single median process is present also in Setodes pallida Kimmins, 1963 described from Ethiopia. Besides the ninth sternite the tenth tergum, the phallic apparatus and the inferior appendages also relates my new species to S. unispina Martynov, 1936 but having significant differences in all of these structural units of the genitalia. I name my species according to Its overall fragile appearance. Holotype 8. Bhutan, Hatisar, Galo River, 15. V. 1984., leg. PÉTERI. Deposited at the Zoological Department, Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Right pair of wings mounted as dry microscopic preparation. Caustic potash-treated abdomen and the remaining part of the body stored in a single airtight self standing vial with 70 % ethanol. Author' s address: Dr. J.
