Figs 46-47. Magyaria florida sp.n. - 46: leg I, 47: prodorsum from lateral view transversal chitinous rib. Lamellae and translamella well developed, lamellar cuspis (Fig. 52) rounded, without apex. Tectum well developed, with dilate apex (Fig. 51). Rostral setae arising near to its cuspis (Fig. 50), distincly barbed. Lamellae and interlamellar setae thick, both pairs finely or sparsely barbed. Sensillus short with clavate head. Surface of prodorsum and notogaster covered by secretion layer forming an irregular, rugose sculpture on notogaster, four pairs of areae porosae and ten pairs of short notogastral setae weakly visible under it. Ventral side (Fig. 49): Epimeral and ventral surface covered also by secretion Iqyer, but median part of epimeral region bare. Apodemes short, sternal apodeme not developed. Epimeral setal formula: 3-1-3-3. Laterally on the epimeral region some strong rugae or chitinous crests present. All epimeral setae slightly pilose. Six pairs (Fig. 53) of genital, one pair of aggenital, two pairs anal and three pairs of adanal setae present. Material examined: Holotypus E-Y. No.

Remarks: On the ground of the characteristic formation of its covering layer the new species is distinguished from all congeners. Austroceratobates gen.n. Diagnosis: Family Ceratozetidae Jacoti, 1925. Rostrum divided by two incisions, rugose. Lamellae with long, free cuspis, translamella absent. Tectum very long, narrow, without cuspis, reaching beyond insertion of rostral setae. Sensillus short, directed inwards, its head clavate. Dorsosejugal suture narrowed anteriorly, protruding into interlamellar area. Pteromorphae immovable, very narrow, but very long tongue-shaped. Ten pairs of well-visible, simple notogastral setae and four pairs of areae porosae present. The latter scarcely observable, they appear only as more heavily punctate areas.
