(? )Pletzenoppia curviclavata sp.n. Measurements. - Length: 451-477 urn, width: 270-287 um. Dorsal side (Fig. 1): Rostrum rounded, rostral setae arising on its lateral margin. Rostral and lamellar setae nearly equal in length, both pairs well ciliate and much longer than short interlamellar and exobothridial setae (Fig. 3). Costulae or lamellar lines absent. Two pairs of fine light spots in interbothridial, and some other larger ones in lateral position present. Sensillus short, its head clavate, lanceolate, with finely serrate outer margin. Exobothridial area granulate. Dorsosejugal suture nearly straight medially. Setae ta present, but much shorter than other notogastral setae. Setae te and ti longer than ms, setae Pj-P3 much shorter than r^. Setae te and ti originating in a transversal line, setae ms standing more anteriorly than r 3 . All finely ciliate. Ventral side (Fig. 2): Epimeres - excepting the first one - touching in the middle, apodemes and bordures normally developed. Median setae of epimeres only slightly shorter than the lateral ones, setae lc arising on pedotecta 1 being the longest eplmeral setae of all. Pedotecta 4 with triangular posterior corner. Six pairs of genital setae present. Aggenital, anal and adanal setae nearly equal in length. Setae adg standing in the middle between setae ag and ad 2 , in preanal position. Pori iad originating far from anal opening in apoanal position. Material examined: Holotypus (1066-HO-84):S.-Afr. 3. 1 paratype: from the same sample. Holotypus: HNHM; paratype: TMP. Measurements.- Length: 352 urn, width: 210 urn. Dorsal side (Fig. 4): Rostrum conical, rostral setae arising on dorsal surface. A short but well visible costula present, apex bearing long lamellar setae. Ratio of prodorsal setae: ro>le>in s ex. Both latter pairs minute. In front of lamellar setae small transversal furrow (Fig. 6) present. Some light spots observable in interlamellar and lateral part of prodorsum. Exobothridial region finely granulate. Sensillus with spindle-shaped head. Dorsosejugal suture convex. Setae ta absent, nine pairs of notogastral setae present, all well ciliate, setae te and ti slightly longer i^-r.,. Ventral side (Fig. 5): Epimeral surface ornamented by irregular large spots. Among epimeral setae lc longer than 3c or 4c, all well ciliate, arising on pedotecta 1. Posterior corner of pedotecta 4 with curved sharp spur. Six pairs of minute genital setae present. All setae in anogenital region very short, but well ciliate. Setae ad^ in postanal, adg In para-anal position. Pori iad situated far from anal opening, in apoanal position. Material examined: Holotypus (1067-HO-84):S.-Afr. 3. 1 paratype from the same sample.Holotypus deposited in the HNHM; 1 paratype in the TMP. (?)Pletzenoppia rattura sp.n.
