Forceps (Fig. 9) depressed on basal half, and cylindrical in cross-section on apical half; inner margin of flattened section with some very small tubercles.Geni­talia (Fig. 10) very broad; central parameral plate oval, virga within genital lobe short, basal ves­icle S-shaped; external paramere fully developed, obtuse apically. Female very similar to male, but forceps straight, trigonal in cross-section basally,cylindri­cal apically. Length of body with forceps: in both sexes: 12-15 mm. Material examined: Armenia, val. Araxis m, Savai-bulag, 8-VI-30, SCHELKOVN., gen.prep. No. 966, det. Dr. H. STEINMANN, 1 ex. Forficula tomis (Kolenati, 1846) Chelidura tomis Kolenati, 1846. Melet. Ent., 5: 74. - Terra typica: unknown locality). Male ultimate tergite transverse, posterior margin more or less straight or a little trisinuate. Pygidium small, about as long as broad, with rounded apex. Forceps (Fig. 11) comparatively short, about two and half times longer than length of ultimate tergite. Each branch of forceps flattened on basal half, inner margins of depressed section finely crenulate. Genitalia (Fig. 12) typical of the genus; virga within genital lobe long, longer than external paramere; basal vesicle shorter and wide; external paramere well developed, outer margin without excision medially (gen.prep.No. 964, det.
