tergites 1-2 with more or less longitudinal and rather weak rugosity. Reddish yellow colour of body more vivid. - Distribution: Up to now known only from Ireland. New to the fauna of Hungary. Locality - II/l: 1 6 : Gyulaflrátót, Kispapod, VIII. Remark - The holotype of A. heterostigma (Stelfox) was seen and examined by me; my sincere thank should go to Mr. S. R. SHAW (National Museum of Natural History, Washington) for his kind­ness in lending me the type-specimen. Aleiodes (Neorhogas) laroslawensis (Kokujev, 1899) - Very near and closely related to A. ru- fipes (Thomson). First tergite as long as wide at hind, not evenly broadening posteriorly. Femora somewhat thick, third femur 3.5-3.7 times as long as broad. Antenna with 38-42 joints,proximal 10-15th joints of flagellum transverse. - Distribution: European part of the USSR. New to the fauna of Hungary. Locality - 11/2: 1 £ : Noszvaj, Sikfőkút, swept in a Quercetum petraeae-cerris, V. Aleiodes (Neorhogas) medianus (Thomson, 1896) - Nervellus issuing from the middle of dis­coidal vein. Sternaulix smooth. Mesonotum, scutellum and propodeum dull. Temple in dorsal view constricted. First tergite with posteriorly well broadening sides. Black; pronotum almost entirely, tegula, tergites 1-3 and legs reddish yellow. Third femur apically blackish; third tibia yellowish white, apically black. - Distribution: Sporadic in Sweden, Finland and the USSR. In Hungary a rare species . Localities - I/l: 1 6 : Borosjenő (= Ineu, Transylvania). 2 í : Gyula. 1 o : Gyula, Póstelekí erdő. II/l: 1 o_ : Velence. - III/4: 1 o_ : Kecsed (= Alunis, Transylvania). 1 o_ : Vulkán (= Vulcan, Transylvania). - VI/3: 1 Í : Lipik. - V, VII-VIII. Aleiodes (Neorhogas) miniatus (Herrich-Schäffer, 1838) - Ground colour of body yellow or reddish yellow; ocellar field, mesosternum, propodeum and fore part of first tergite black. Male sex with somewhat more black(ish) pattern. Cu2 short, r2 and cuqu2 equal in length.First tergite less broadening posteriorly; third tergite hardly shorter than second tergite. Tergites 1-2 rugose­punctate, tergite 3 punctate. - Distribution: Inhabitant of the steppe and forest-steppe vegetation zone of the Palaearctic Region. In Hungary frequent in the Great Hungarian Plain (Eupannonicum). Localities - I/l: 1 o_ + 2 o : Bátorliget. 1 è : Bocsa. 2 6 : Dunapentele. 1 o. : Jászberény. 1 <j> : Kalocsa. 1 JD_ : Kerekegyháza, Kondortó. 1 o_ : Orgovány, Kargala. 2 £ : Szabadszállás, Kis­rét. 1 £ : Szigetcsép. 1 o. : Tiszaalpár. 1 o. : Ujszentmargita. - II/l: 1 o_ : Budapest, Svábhegy. 1 í : Dinnyés. 1 o_ : Velence. - III/4: 1 o" : Rév, Zichy-barlang környéke (= Vadul Crisului, Tran­sylvania) - III/5: 1 £ : Dicsőszentmárton (= Ttrnaveni, Transylvania). 1 6^ : Erdőalja (= Subpadure, Transylvania). - V/l: 1 6 : Kőszeg. - V/2: 1 <j> : Zalavár, Diás. Aleiodes (A.) modestus (Reinhard, 1863) - Mesopleuron smooth and shiny, sternaulix weakly crenulo-rugose. First tergite less widening posteriorly; second tergite less transverse, only 1.2­1.3 times wider behind than long. Black, metasoma rather brownish black, mesosoma above with rusty to reddish yellow pattern. Legs yellow. - Distribution: Europe, USSR (Georgia, Armenia, Baykal area), Korea. Localities - III/l: 1 6 : Breznó, Bystra, 500-700 m (Lower Tatra Mts., Slovakia). 1 o_ : Zó­lyom (= Zvolen), Polana, 900 m (Slovakia). - V/2: Sopron (GYORFI 1959, specimen is not in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest). Aleiodes (Neorhogas) morio (Reinhard, 1863) - Femora not long, of usual length, i.e. every femur four times as long as broad. Second tergite less transverse, 1.4-1.5 times wider behind than long medially. Body and legs black, legs 1-2 sometimes brownish, tibia 1 and tarsi 1-3 fre­quently with yellowish brown suffusion. Tegula vivid yellow. It seems most related to A. sibiricus (Kokujev). - Distribution: Sporadic in Spain, Yugoslavia, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Finland and the European part of the USSR. Localities - I/l: 1 o_ + 1 £ : Budapest, Rákospalota. 1 o_ : Kelebia. - II/l: 1 6 : Nadap. ­IV: 1 o_ : Mehádia (Transylvania). - IV and VI. Aleiodes (A.) nigricornis Wesmael, 1838 - Head in dorsal view transverse, 1.8-2 times broader than long. Very near to A. circumscriptus (Nees). - Distribution: In the western Palae­arctic Region frequent to common, in the eastern Palaearctic Region reported from a few localities. In Hungary very frequent. Localities - Most localities in the Carpathian Basin are restricted to the subdistricts of Eu­pannonicum (I/l), Matricum (II/1-2) in Hungary and Eucarpathicum (III/l) in Slovakia.The localities are shared among the subdistricts as follows: I/l: 12 (localities), II/l: 6, II/2: 5, III/l: 9, 111/2: 1,
