S. Mahunka szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 46/1. (Budapest, 1985)

Figs 66-67. Kilimabates pilosus sp.n. - 66: dorsal side, 67: ventral side Material examined: Holotypus (1082-HO-84): E.-Y. No. 1310; 13 paratypes: from the same sample. Holotypus and 7 paratypes: TMP; 5 paratypes (1082-PO-84): HNHM; 1 paratypes: MHNG. Remarks: The new species stands far from all other Kilimabates Mahunka, 1984 species owing to the shape of its sensillus and the presence of its notogastral setae. (? )Kilimabates polygonatus sp.n. Measurements.- Length: 316-344 pm, width: 240-264 urn. Dorsal side (Fig. 72): Rostrum rounded. Lamellae wide, rounded anteriorly, translamella present. Lamellar setae arising on rounded lamellar cuspis. Interlamellar setae short. Tectum well developed with sharp cuspis (Fig. 74). Rostral setae arising beyond cuspis. Genal teeth (?) wide, not sharp. Sensillus with long peduncle and with a small, rounded and barbed head. Whole surface - without a small part laterally, between lamella and tectum - polygonate. Dorsosejugal suture only slightly convex medially. Pteromorpha typical, lunge-shaped. Four pairs of small areae porosae and ten pairs of short, but well visible setae present. Whole surface also polygonate. Ventral side (Fig. 73): Surface of pedotecta 1 (Fig. 75), mentum, part of the epimeral region and the whole the ventral plate also polygonate. Apodemes and bordures weakly developed.Epimeral setal formula: 3-1-3-2. All epimeral setae short and simple. Custodium absent. Six (exceptionally 5) pairs of genital setae present. All three pairs of adanal setae arising near to each other; two pairs in postanal (ad^ and ad 2 ) and one pair in posterior para-anal (adg) position. Surface of genital plates smooth, anal plates polygonate.
