Austroceratobates endroedyi gen. n., sp.n. - 56: cuspis of the lamella, 57: rostrum, 58: prodorsum from the lateral view Ventral side (Fig. 60): Epimeral surface with two transversal bands, one present between the second and sejugal apodeme, the other present in front of genital opening. A very strong lateral border also visible. Epimeral setal formula: 3-1-3-2. Discidium well developed, with posterior apex. Six pairs of genital, one pair of aggenital, two pairs of anal and three pairs of adanal setae, all very short, or minute. Legs: All legs tridactylous. Genu of leg I (Fig. 62) with bicuspidate, sharp spur ventrally. Femur of legs III and IV (Fig. 65) with bladelike projection, dorsal surface of latter with parallel wrinkles. Material examined: Holotypus (1081-HO-84): S.-Afr. 3. 14 paratypes: from the same sample. Holotypus and 9 paratypes (1081-PO-84): HNHM, 4 paratypes: TMP; 1 paratype: MHNG. Remarks: The new species is the second one of this genus in South Africa. It is distinguished from the other Kilimabates Mahunka, 1984 species by the bicuspidate rostrum, the ciliate sensillus and by the shape of its areae porosae.
