Division of the Apanteles Förster species in Hungary according to species-groups Thirty-seven species of Apanteles are recorded from Hungary and the adjacent countries within the Carpathian Basin in a Zoogeographieal sense. The following 14 species proved to be new to the fauna of Hungary: Apanteles acasta Nixon, A. aletta Nixon, A. aliphera Nixon, A. andromlca Nixon, A. atreus Nixon, A. enephes Nixon, A. firmus Telenga, A. luclana Nixon, A. mandants Nixon, A. mygdonla Nixon, A. parallelus Lyle, A. plugarui Tobias, A. sancus Nixon and A. valtdus Thomson.
