The FORMOSUS-group Apanteles sancus Nixon, 1965 - Lateral part of pronotum without sulcus. Pterostigma unusu­ally wide for the species-group, 1.9-2 times as long as wide; rl and cuqul equal in length. Pen­ultimate two joints of antenna short, 1.2-1.4 times as long as broad. First tergite relatively broad, only 1.8 (-1.9) times longer than wide at base, its two sides less arched, rather subparallel. In lateral view hypopygium truncate, ovipositor sheath surpassing metasoma. First tergite reddish to rusty brown. - Distribution: hitherto reported from a few countries far from one another (France, Hungary, Bulgaria, Jordan, Azerbaidzhan). Supposedly also distributed in the western Palaearctic Region. New to the fauna of Hungary. Locality - II/2: 1 cf : Háromhuta, István-kút (Zemplén Mts.), VII. The POPUL ARIS-group Apanteles anchisiades Nixon, 1973 - Propodeum polished. Fifth joint of fore tarsus with a spinule on its outer side, opposite of spinule side of tarsal joint emarginate. Pterostigma less wide, 2.7-2.8(-2.9) times longer than wide, issuing radial vein clearly distally from its middle. First tergite parallel-sided. Second tergite less transverse to subquadrate, 1.4-1.5 times wider behind than long medially. Third tergite only somewhat longer than second tergite. Discoidal cell distinctly wider than high. Legs reddish yellow. - Distribution: listed from several countries in the northern half of Europe, furthermore from N. Italy, Bulgaria and Mongolia. In Hungary rare. New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities - II/l: 1 g : Gyöngyös, KékestetS. - Slovakia, HT/1: 1 g : Breznó, Bystra, 500­700 m. 1 S : Breznó, Kumstová dol., 800-1000 m. 1 o_ + 2 cf : Breznó, Mlyná dol. 3 g : Breznó, Zálomy, 600-700 m. 1 6 : Drábsko, rezervátum (= reserved territory), 1000-1100 m. 2 6 : Kör­möcbánya (= Kremnica), Skalka. 1 6 : Magas Tátra, Csorba-tó (= Vysoké Tatry, Strbské Pleso). 2 6 : Magas Tátra, Furkota. 1 6 : Tátraiomnic (= Tatranská Lomnice). 3 g + 1 0 : Zólyom (= Zvolen), Polana, 900 m. - V, VII-VIII, frequent in July. Apanteles andromica Nixon, 1965 (= mihalyii Papp, 1973, partim) - First tergite slightly broadening posteriorly. Propodeum smooth to polished. Pterostigma relatively wide, only 2.1-2.2 (-2.3) times longer than wide. Second tergite uneven to coriaceous, less transverse, i.e. 2-2.2 times wider behind than long medially. Cheek with a pale yellow spot. A dark legged species,mid­dle and hind femora infuscate to blackish. - Distribution: Germany (FRG), Czechoslovakia, Hungary. Localities - II/l: 1 g : Fenyőfő, Szépalma. 1 g (paratype of A. mihalyii Papp): Szár. - II/2: 1 g : Fót, Somlyóhegy. - VI/1: 1 g. (allotype ô", misidentiflcation by me!, of A. mihalyii Papp): Pécs, Misina. - V-VI. Apanteles caberae Marshall, 1885 Apanteles caberae Marshall, 1885, Trans. R. ent. Soc. Long. 1885: 212, g o , locus typicus: (?) England. - Type-specimen in the British Museum (Nat.Hist.), London. Apanteles mihalyii Papp, 1973, Annls hist.-nat. Mus .natn. hung. 65: 296, g 6", locus typicus: "Ba­kony-hgs., Cuha-vgy.", Porva, Hungary; abbreviated synonymization in PAPP 1984. - Holotype in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest; Hym. Typ. No. 2176. Propodeum smooth and shiny. Fifth joint of fore tarsus with a distinct spinule, opposite of spinule emarginated. First tergite 1.3-1.4 times longer than its greatest width before hind end; second tergite less transverse, usually twice wider behind than long medially, its surface smooth, posteriorly more or less uneven and at most with a few rugulae-subrugulae, shiny to posteriorly subshiny or with satine-like sheen. Pterostigma less wide, 2.3-2.5 times longer than wide. Hind femur reddish yellow. Sternites l-3(-4) pale yellow or yellow. - Distribution: northern half of Europe as far eastwards as the Ukraine. Localities - I/l: 1 S : Gyula, Szanazug. 1 S : Zamárdi. - II/l: 1 g (holotype of A. mihalyii Papp): Porva, Cuha-völgy (Bakony Mts.). 1 g : Szár, Fáni-völgy (Vértes Mts.). - Slovakia, III/l: 1 g : Breznó, Bystra, 500-700 m. 1 cf : Körmöcbánya (= Kremnica), Zólyom-völgy. - V and VII-DÍ. Apanteles delitutus Papp, 1984 - This species was recently described by me in Annls hist.­nat. Mus.natn.hung. 76, 1984, p. 000, where I enumerated Its localities in full details. In Hungary two localities are known (I/l: Orszentmiklós, II/l: Budakeszi). Besides Hungary known from Bel­gium, the Netherland and Slovakia (CSSR).
