Hoplophorella ensifera sp, n. Measurements: Length of aspis: 430 pm, length of notogaster: 859 pm, height of notogaster: 546 pm. Aspis (Fig. 26): Prodorsal surface with a deep depression (well visible In lateral view) in front of lamellar setae, and a smaller one in front of rostral setae. Prodorsal crista low, but swelling out; in dorsal view three edges observable. Surface weakly ornamented, only some foveolae present in rostral region and some rugae and smaller foveolae on basal part. Rostral setae slightly dilated, bent Inwards, lamellar and Interlamellar setae strong, both pairs comparatively long, well spiculate. Sensillus (Fig. 27) long, head small, strongly dilated. Notogaster (Fig. 24) Surface distinctly foveolate. All notogastral setae strong, thick, partly erect, all equal of length, with a sharp edge on their inner side (Fig. 25). All setae of c series standing far from collar line. Anogenital region: Ano-adanal plates very high. Setae adj arising on Inner margin, beside the two pairs of anal setae; all three similar in shape. Setae ad 2 very long, dagger-shaped, finely roughened, adg shorter than the other setae. Material examined: Holotype (1034-HO-84): Environ Malange, forest litter and moss. 12.V. 1980. leg. Z. SZABÖ. Holotype: HNHM. Remarks: The new species is well characterized by the shape and chaetotaxy of aspis and by the dagger-shaped adanal setae (adg). This combination of characters was unknown among the heretofore known taxa. Hoplophorella horrida sp. n. Measurements: Length of aspis 328-427 pm, length of notogaster: 754-910 pm, heigth of notogaster: 418-517 urn. Aspis (Fig. 30): Aspis quadrangular in lateral view, its rostral margin also wide, with three large swellings, representing three wide cristal. Prodorsal surface without foveolae, basal part with one pair of stronger and one pair of weaker rugae. All three pairs of prodorsal setae thin, simple, setlform. Setae ex reduced. Sensillus long, setiform, curved. Notogaster (Fig. 28): Anterior part very large, protruding forward, in dorsal view covering the basal part of aspis. Surface of notogaster with large protuberances, the fifteen pairs of notogastral setae arising on them. All setae fine, thin, simple, setlform. Anogenital region (Fig. 29): Genlto-aggenital and ano-adanal plates with some ribs and rugae. Inner margin of ano-adanal plates with three pairs of shorter setae, among them adj standing a little farther from than anj from an„. Setae ad 2 and adg equal In length, and both pairs standing equally far from the inner margin of ano-adanal plates. Material examined: Holotype (1035-HO-84): Environ Malange, forest litter and moss. 12.V. 1980. leg. Z. SZABÖ, 11 paratypes: from the same sample. Holotype and 9 paratypes (1035-PO84): HNHM, 1 paratype: MR AT, 1 paratype: MHNG. Remarks: The new species belongs to a species-group which may be characterized by an anterior notogastral projection and some other protuberances on the notogaster. It is distinguished from the other similar species [ Hoplophorella ephlpplger* (Balogh et Mahunka, 1978) and H. tuber- culoslssimus* (Mahunka, 1978)] by the much thicker notogastral projecti and by the smooth surface of aspis.
