- Tergite 2 at most partly with deep and dense, though not extremely dense punctures, interspaces everywhere larger than punctures. Mesonotum with longitudinal furrow mostly well developed. Mesopleura with deep transverse groove below tegulae (fig. 1Î9). Posterior margin of tergite 2 with a very narrow band of alutaceous sculpture 10 10 Pits of central areas of propodeum margined by inner side of supposed discal carina, outer side convex becoming sublateral area especially on female. Median carinae partly well defined. Transverse carina of sublateral area (£) at posterior margin of disc lacking basally, weakly developed laterally (o ). Lateral spine of propodeum acute on _g, stumpy on (?. Head shagreened TjjOi densely, pronotum only moderately strongly (o_) or more deeply ( (?) punctured. Longitudinal sulcus of pronotum well impressed. Mesonotum without furrow. Antennae of male with proclinate hairs. (Reported from Euro-Turanian and from Mediteranean region) ( Codorcas Nagy, 1972) All carinae of propodeum well defined (fig. 48) 11 11 Mesonotum with longitudinal furrow usually well developed (fig. 32). Lateral spine generally long, sometimes as long as propodeum, acute, mostly also in lateral view (figs 60, 119). Parallel carina below lateral margin of propodeum mostly penetrating into spine (in lateral view) (fig. 119). Head, pronotum, often mesonotum with deep punctures. Tergite 1-2 differently punctured, but never with extremely dense punctures. Antennae sometimes remarkably thickened medially ( P ), (figs 33, 51), and with erect, suberect or proclinate hairs (6*) (figs 84, eft 12, 111) Sulcomesitius Móczár, 1970 Mesonotum only with rarely developed longitudinal furrow, surface smooth (fig, 169), at most shallowly and broadly impressed. Lateral spine of moderate length, stumpy, rather obtuse in lateral view (fig. 168). Parallel carina below lateral margin of disc ending before spine. Head, pronotum densely punctured, reticulate, sometimes more deeply sculptured, interspaces only moderately shining. Mesonotum mostly only with small (fig. 174) or minute punctures. Longitudinal sulcus of pronotum usually reaching near to posterior margin (fig. 173). Antennae at most slightly thickened ( o_ ), with proclinate, suberect, or exceptionally with erect hairs ( i* ) Heterocoelia Dahlbom, 1854 Anaylax Móczár, 1970 Anaylax Móczár, 1970: Acta zool.hung. 1_6_: 178, j ^ Head smooth, finely alutaceous, sometimes sparsely punctured. Longitudinal keel of clypeus sharp. Pronotum smooth, at most finely punctured ( o_ ) (fig. 2) or hardly punctured (o ), longitudinal furrow at most hardly distinct. All carinae of propodeum distinct, lateral spines indistinct ( ó?) or sometimes (p) only short. Wings normal or short. Abdominal tergites 1-2 at most sparsely and distinctly punctured. 8 species are known from the Mediterranean region and from Oriental territory, only 2 species from the latter. Type-species: Mesitius moczari Nagy, 1968 1 Head with rather deep punctures (fig. 3). Pronotum, proximal part of antennae, legs yellowish red, sides of abdominal segments partly brownish-yellowish red, segments partly dark red translucent. Half diameter of propodeal disc transversally slightly broader than length of propodeum medially (15: 14). Pronotum distinctly shorter medially than broad in front (17 : 20). Head distinctly broader than long (37 : 31). Wings normal. 4 mm integer (Kieffer, 1906) p - Head with superficially scattered but distinct punctures (fig. 1), smalle^ than on integer. Pronotum black, antennae, legs lower face yellowish red or head and
