Larger and wider than previous species, pronotum (fig. 157) 1.35-1.57 times as wide as head, 1.50-1,66 times as wide as long, strongly rounded and widely reflexed at sides. Elytra elliptic, wider than in ssp. bagrovdaghensis but more flattened, widest at middle or slightly before it, striae distinctly punctate, intervals slightly convex, interval 3 with 6-9 setiferous pores, somewhat ajoining stria 3.
