Mesonotum with dense rugo-punctation. - Distribution: observed and listed in England, Sweden, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Tunisia. Supposedly a European species. Apanteles cloelia Nixon, 1965 - First tergite with arched sides. Second tergite rugose, i.e. similarly so as first one. Inner margin of eyes parallel. Mesonotum with fine, shallow and more or less confluent punctation. Ovipositor more or less shorter than hind tibia. Legs rather dark. - Distribution: described from Switzerland, observed in Austria, Yugoslavia and Hungary. Localities: - 1 c?: Bakonybél, Szarvadárok. 2 cf. Apanteles electili s Tobias, 1964 - Head in frontal view distinctly broader than high. Inner margin of eyes converging below. Stigma 2.7-2.8 times as long as wide, issuing radial vein distally from its middle. First tergite (1.7-)1.8 times longer than broad at middle. Second tergite four to five times wider than long medially. - Distribution: Kazakhstan (USSR), Yugoslavia (Kor­fcula island). New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities: - 1 cf: Csömör. 1 cf: Gyula, Pósteleki erdő. 3 Ç + 1 <f: Nagytétény. 1 g: Or­szentmiklós. 1 cf: Sződ. - Yugoslavia: 1 cf, "Curzola" • Korcula island. - V-DÍ. Apanteles mutabllis Telenga, 1955 - Very similar to A. electilis Tobias. Head in frontal view only somewhat broader than high. Stigma 2.3-2.4 times as long as wide, issuing radial vein just distally from its middle. First tergite 1.5-1.6 times longer than broad at middle. Second tergite thrice to four times wider than long medially. - Distribution: European USSR, Kazakhstan. New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities: - 1 J Tompa. 1 g: Vác, Gajári-telep. - V, IX. Res., 63: 195 (in key) and 198 (description), g, locus typicus: Eckerö, Finland, syn.n. The above new synonymy is based on the comparative examination of the "Type" s of A. naso Marshall and A. coresia Nixon. The type of A. naso was kindly loaned to me by Dr. T.
