Thoracic dorsum black, with moderately long silvery hairs, marginal areas variable from tan to orange above the humeral callus and all black between the call! to black grading to orange between these points; humeral and supraalar calll cream; mesoscutellum bordered with tan to orange, with darker orange or black along central base; Pleural areas all black to marked with orange; wings milky hyaline, veins tan; haltère stem tan, knob cream; legs with coxae through femora black-brown, tibiae and tarsi light orange-brown . Abdominal segments black-brown with cream to tan posterior margins giving a banded appea­rance, some showing orange on lateral margins of tergites; 8th segment varying from all red­brown to distal half largely orange; 9th sternum and tergum with light margins, sternum with long bristles; bursa as figured; spermathecae flattened discs.
