NY AI (1981); new data: Budapest (leg. G. Szöcs), Pilisszentlván, Kisszénás (leg. G. Ronkay), Ros­talló, 7. VIII. 1978, in late afternoon. Eupithecia sinuosaria Ev. - It is difficult to group this species based upon a few Hungarian data. In the Carpathians it lives in rocky grasslands and rocky forests. From Rostalló we have only one specimen (24 .VII. 1977). The other characteristic group of the fauna of the Zemplén Mts. Vaccinietal elements Bomolocha crassalis F. - The distribution of this species is given by GOZMANY (1970) and GYULAI et al. (1974); new data: Kiscsehi (leg. Ambrust), Csopak (light trap), Rostalló, 19-21. VI 1977. Rheumaptera undulata L. - This, very local and rare species is usual at Rostalló, but may only be collect in a small number. Eupithecia trisignaria H.S. - The first record of this species in Hungary was from Kőszeg (RÉZBANYAI, 1969), it became also known from the Bakony Mts. (RÉZBÁNYÁI, 1977) and Sza­konyfaju (UHERKOVICH, pers. comm). New data: Rostalló, 20.VIII. 1971. Coniferous species Thera albonlgrata Gornik - It was recently shown to be new to the Hungarian fauna (RONKAY, 1980). Thera cognata Thnbg. - Known from NE part of Hungary and from Nadap (Velence Mts., light trap), at Rostalló we collected a single specimen on 4.Vn.l978. Eupithecia lanceata Hbn. - The distribution of this species was given by GYULAI et al. (1974); from Rostalló we have nine specimens. Chloroclysta citrata L. - Distributed in the coniferous zone, in Hungary local and rare. At Rostalló usual, but may be caught In a small number. Atlanto-Mediterranean elements Lycophotla porphyrea Den, et Schiff. - Distributed in the western part of Hungary, though very locally. In NE Hungary from Aggtelek (GYULAI et al., 1974). At Rostalló we collected it only in some nyears (19-21.VII. 1973, 4.VIII. 1977, 5-10.VIII. 1978). Mediterranean (Holo- and Pontomedlterranean) elements Paidia murina Hbn. - In Hungary, a locally distributed species; new from the Mts. Zemp­lén. Data: Rostalló, 16.VII. 1975. Tephronia sepiaria Hum. - The distribution and some behavioural comments were given by VOJNITS (1980); at Rostalló we collected a single specimen on 7.Vin.l978. Coenocalpe lapldata Hbn. - This species is locally distributed in the Budai Mts. and in the northern montaneous region; at places not rare. The only specimen was collected on 8.VHI.1977.
