Resembling somewhat to M. tuberculifer (Wesmael), though body clearly more gracile. - Distribution: Described from Kazakhstan (USSR), up to now found in Mongolia, Korea in the Eastern Palaearctic Region, and in several European countries (Hungary, Germany, the Netherlands, Scotland, Finland, Switzerland, Italy). - New to the fauna of Hungary. Microplitis docilis Nixon, 1970 From among the European Microplitis species M. docilis excels by its strongly sculptured scutellum, i.e. its rugosity almost as coarse as that of notaulix behind. Second tergite (medially) frequently shrivelled. Tergites 2-3 of the holotype (originating from Finland) reddish yellow darkening medially, further specimens from several countries black. Sternaulix relatively strongly crenulated. Scape reddish yellow, sometimes with blackish pattern. - Distribution: Described from Finland, up to now recorded from several countries in the Palaearctic Region (Sweden, Hungary, the USSR: "Siberia, Selenginsk") . New to the fauna of Hungary. In our country it seems a frequent species. Also collected in Slovakia (1 g: Breznó) and in Bulgaria (1 g: Madara). Microplitis erythrogaster Abdinbekova, 1969 Entire legs reddish yellow, at most hind coxa exceptionally infuscate. Metasoma more or less reddish yellow to testaceous, first tergite black to blackish. Head in dorsal view weakly though distinctly broadening. First tergite with arched sides, widest at its hind third. - Distribution: First found in Azerbaidzhan (USSR), recorded in Hungary and Denmark. New to the fauna of Hungary; collected in our country in the Pannonian district. Localities. 1 g: Debrecen, Pallagpuszta. 1 g: Dinnyés. 2 S: Gyula, Szanazug. - VIII-IX, 2 g + 2 S. Microplitis fulvicornis (Wesmael, 1837) Since its description it has been either a misinterpreted species or a suppressed name (SHENEFELT 1973). Recently NEXON (1970) recognized its specific validity, however, under the name of M. calcarata Thomson. This latter name proved to be a junior synonym of M. tubercu lifer (Wesmael). - First tergite 1.8-2 times as long as broad, with arched broadening sides so that widest at the middle or behind the middle. Flagellum reddish yellow to brownish, distally darkening, blackish to black. Hypopygium in lateral view pointed, surpassing end of metasoma.
