FOLIA XLI (XXXIID. 2. The Asyndetus species in Hungary (Diptera: Dolichopodidae) By M. WEBER (Received December 3, 1979) A bstract: Four species of Asyndetus Loew new to Hungary; the hitherto unknown female of A. melanopselaphus Stackelberg, 1952 is described. The are only few data reffering of the occurence of species belonging to the genus A syndetus in Hungary. On the basis of specimens in the Zoological Department of the Hungarian Natural His­tory Museum (Budapest) and recent specimens taken in the territory of the Hortobágy National Park, the occurrence of four species is proved In Hungary. So far only Asyndetus latifrons Loew has been known from Hungary. Asyndetus latifrons (Loew, 1857): The most frequent species in Europe, spread far and wide. So far it was known from the surroundings of Simontornya. Results of the recent collectings: 3 dcf, 5 $°. Tóth leg.); 1 o., Zamárdi, meadow at the beach, 19th June, 1955 (Á. Soós leg.). Asyndetus longicornis Negrobov, 1973: Occurs in Mongolia and in China. It is new to the fauna of Hungary, as well as to Europe. On a sodic-pasture of Dömsöd, Apaj-puszta, 3 ó*o* and 4 çg, were captured, 22nd May, 1958 (Mihályi leg.), 18th June, 1958 (Zsirkó leg.), 25th August, 1958, 21st August, 1959 (Mihályi leg.). Asyndetus melanopselaphus Stackelberg, 1952: Known from Tadzhikistan (only the male). In Hungary: 6 88 and 9 gç were collected. The species is new to the fauna of Hungary, as well as of Europe . The female (new) Is the same as the male, except in the following: the face is wider, twice as wide as the length of the third antennái joint. The third joint of the antenna is as wide as long.
