FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK (SERIES NOVA) XXXII. 2. 1979 p. 161-167 Further contribution to the knowledge of Chrysomehdae from Mongolia (Coleoptera)* By L. N. MEDVEDEV (Received December 15, 1978) Abstract: Corrections and additional data to Mongolian Chrysomelidae in the following taxa: Plateumaris , Crioceris, Labidostomis , Chloropterus, Chrysochus, Chrysolina, Crosita, Phratora, Luperus, Phyllotreta , Aphthona , Longitarsus, Altica , Argopus, Chaetocnema, Ischyronota and Cassida . The Chrysomelid fauna of Mongolia has been intensively studied in the last fifteen years, thanks mostly to the Hungarian Zoological Expedition headed by Dr. Z. KASZAB and to the Soviet-Mongolian Biological Expedition. More than 340 species of the family have been registered until this time (MEDVEDEV, 1978). In this article I give some verification, redetermination and additional data concerning the fauna of this region. I had the opportunity to study all the types and doubtful species from the collections of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, of the Zoological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and Dr. LOPATIN's (Minsk). I wish to express my sincere acknowledgement to Dr. Z. KASZAB, Dr. I. K. LOPATIN and Dr. G, S. MEDVEDEV who permitted me to study many specimens discussed in this publication. Plateumaris weisei Duvivier, 1885 P. mongolica Semenov, 1895, described from river Barchyn-gol in Chentej aimak is a new synonym of P. weisei Duv^ I have studied the type of P. mongolica Sem., based on a unique specimen, and 2 cotypes of DUVIVIER's species. Criocer is duodecimpunctatus orientális Jacoby, 1885 C. quatuordecimpunctatus tschingisana Lopatja, 1966 is a new synonym of this subspecies. Ergebnisse der zoologischen Forschungen von Dr. Z.
