ANDRÄSFALVY (Received November 20, 1977) Abstract: Distribution and host-plant data to the aphid fauna of Hungary with a number of new species to the fauna. The collecting and more especially the making of the preparation of aphids exclude the elaboration of long series of these animals, consequently, data referring even to common species are scarce and far in between. The problem is further aggrevated by the fact that faunal research in Hungary has started only recently thus, reliable data are but few. Special importance is attached in the case of oligophag and polyphag species to the host-plant data, those species having economic importance (e.g. virus vector), too. Hereunder several species are discussed together with their respective distribution and host-plant data of which 10 proved to be new to the Hungarian fauna, these are marked by a cross.
