ZOMBORI (Received October 15, 1977) Abstract: A list of Armenian localities complete with data is given for the two collecting trips made by the authors in 19 76 and 1977. Through an academic agreement signed by the Armenian and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences the first author and his wife M. SIMON had the opportunity in August, 1976 (three weeks), the second author in July, 1977 (one month) to visit the Armenian SSR. The principal aim of the two trips was to collect invertebrates in this faunistically important country. In both cases our host was the Institute of Zoology of the Armenian Academy of Sciences (Yerevan), directed by Dr. S. O. MOVSISIAN. In 1976 Dr. E. G. AKRAMOVSKAYA, in 1977 Dr. H. Y. TERTERIAN received us and made arrangements to visit by a jeep as many diverse localities as possible, for which we should like to express our most cordial thanks to them both. At this place we should further like to thank the Director-General of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, also the Head of the Zoological Department there and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for giving us the opportunity to complete our zoological collecting trips in Armenia. In the following, first the reference number under which the locality name, the approximate altitude above sea level, the date of collecting and the name of the collector in abbreviated form in parenthesis are given, complete with special remarks concerning the biotope, collecting method and so on. S-V shall refer toMagdolna SIMON and Dr. Tamás VÁSÁRHELYI, while Z to Lajos ZOMBORI. In order to easily find the quoted localities the authors thought it advisable to give a map (Fig. 1) of Armenia, wherein besides some major landmarks which are written out in full, the collecting localities are marked by numbers.
