Holotype male and paratype cf, Prov. Nghe-An, semideciduous tropical forest Quy-châu, 200 m., at light, Aug. 26. Paratypes. 1 cf, same locality as the holotype, Aug. 25; 80*0? same locality, Aug. 28. All collected by T. Pócs in 1963., (ISEZ. BM). Group of Empoasca warchalowskii Empoasca gucia sp.n. (Figs. 97-104) Upper part of face, vertex, centre and hind part of pronotum ochre-olivaceous; ground of remain­ing surface greenish. Whitish hypodermal pattern consists of a patch in the centre of irons, bor­dering of coronal suture, two oblique streaks on vertex, three patches at anterior margin of prono­tum, centre of scutum and a patch along anterior margin of scutellum. Eyes brownish. Fore wing light ollvaceous-green, apical cells lighter, semitransparent. The newly described speices is the closest related to E. warchalowskii Dwor. (Dwora­kowska, 1972 a) from which it differs by shorter anal tube appendages (Figs. 100, 101), short penis processes, and penis stem compressed laterally and provided with a big crista at ventral margin (Figs. 97, 98). Lengtho*3.0 and 3.1 mm. Holotype male, Prov. Nghe-An, semideciduous tropical forest Quy-châu, 200 m., at light, Aug. 28. Paratype cf, same locality as at the holotype, Aug. 24. Pócs. Empoasca sama sp.n. (Figs. 107-113) Ground of body ochre-greenish with olivaceous tint. Face in the midline and apex of vertex ochre. A narrow bordering of coronal suture and two oblique streaks on vertex dirty whitish; centre of scutum and patches at anterior margin of scutellum of the same colour. Basal triangles greyish­white. Eyes dark brown. Fore wing hardly semitransparent, ollvaceous-green; apical cells slightly smoked. The newly described species is the closest related to Empoasca majowa Dwor. (Dwora­kowska, 1972 a) but differs from it by male genital apparatus (in Figs. 105, 106 E. majowa Dwor. for comparison). Anal tube appendage (Figs. 110, 113) short and thick at base, pygophore appendage (Figs. 110,112) with short curved tip part, penis (Figs. 107, 108) without extension at the gonopore.
