Beszámoló a harmadik expedicióról 1970 és 1971 után (MAHUNKA k STEINMANN 1971, PAPP k HORVATOVICH 1972) 1975-ben folytatódott a Természettudományi Múzeum zoológiai expediciósorozata a Koreai Népi Demokratikus Köztársaságban. A Koreai Tudományos Akadémia és a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia államközi egyezménye keretében - hasonlóan az első két expedícióhoz - zoológiai gyűjtéseket végeztünk a KNDK-ban. Az illetékesekkel egyetértésben 1975. évi expedíciónk idejét júliusra terveztük, amely hónapban sem az első sem a második expedició nem folytatott gyűjtést. Julius lényegében a monszun ideje Koreában. Rajtunk kivül álló ok miatt elutazásunk ideje július elejéről eltolódott a hónap derekára, ezért négy hetes koreai gyüjtőutunk július 15-től augusztus 12-ig tartott.
