Nabis sinoferus sinoferus and its subspecies, ssp, seidenstü- ckeri , were found in places lower than 1000 m (Table l) , viz. : the former at an altitude of 600 m, the latter at 950 m. Nabis sinoferus sinoferus was captured on plants of well-watered oasis, near wells, while its subspecies was captured by lamp-light in thin, riparian Salix-wood. Aspilapsis pallidus is known from an altitude of 1000-1200 m. This species, presumably, has not conquered higher regions; in Mongolia it lives in dry sandy plains or semi-desert regions on Tamarix shrubs. But is was also found on Tamarix growing near spring wells. Nabid fauna of Mongolia Eesulting from earlier explorations (KERZHNEB, 1962,1963, 1968, JOSIFOV and KEEZHNEB, 1967, WAGNER ,1967) and of dr. Z. KASZAB' s expeditions 18 nabid taxa are known from Mongolia. Examining, however, the geographical distribution of the taxa published from Mongolia it may seem probable that two of them are to be cancelled from the list and are to be replaced by other taxa. Nabis pseudoferus REMANE, 1949 is an Euroturanian species which is substituted by subspecies in the western or southern Mediterranean respectively, on the Azure Islands, in the Near-East and on the Transcaspic areas. The Near-East subspecies (ssp. orientarius REMANE, 1962) is mentioned to come from different parts of Mongolia (WAGNER, 19&7)« It seems, however, certain that the specimens collected in Mongolia belong to Nabis feroldes mimo- ferus HSIAO, 1964 which in its general features and structure of its paramere resembles pseudoferus orlentarius ; furthermore, the location of the Mongolian sites covers well the distribution of feroides mimoferus in Mongolia. Nabis rugosus (LINNAEUS , 1758) is a species of European distribution but was also recorded from the south-western corner of
