Let us suppose that 4 species /A,B,C,D/ were captured during a survey . Species A représente 30 per cent of all specimené caught in the survey, species B 20 per cent, species C 10 per cent, and epecies D 40 per cent. The foodplant of species A is Fagus , that of epecies B Quercus . that of species C Asperula . that of species D Cares . Since the foodplants of species A and B lie in the crown level, and those of species C and D in the grass level, adding the percenteié of the several species accordingly, we arrive at the result that 50 per cent of the whole collected Lepidopterous stock has its foodplant within the crown level, and that of the other 50 per cent within the grass level /Table 3/. Finally, he glvee a complete list of the species collected, with their locality, date and collecting method data. Irodalom. - Literatur. 1. Abafi;Aigner 1L i Magyarország lepkéi.
