28 V. T. DOBOSI E ) Side-scrapers, 8 pes, 3,3% The working edge of the side-scrapers is in 7 instances straight, only one tool has a slightly curved edge. This latter is, as for its characteristics and applicability more to be linked with end-scrapers, except for its finish which is a retouch characteristic for end-scrapers. I. on splitted pebble: 4 pes. on quartered pebble: 2 pes, 86x58 mm; 92x52 mm (Fig. 12: 1 ) ; on pebble segment: 2 pes, 45x31 mm (Fig. 12: 2); 39x27 mm (Fig. 12: 3); II. on flakes: 4 pes., 48x24 mm (Fig.9: 10); 47x10 mm, 45x26 mm, 51X39 mm. F ) Rough implements: 40 pes. 16,5% I. Choppers - chopping-tools: 15 pes Choppers: chopper on pebble: 4 pes, 88x66 mm; 64x37 mm; 56x42 mm; 34x23 mm. chopper on splitted pebbles: 7 pes, among them a tool with altern edge is a characteristic piece: 62x41 mm (Fig. 13: 2). II. Plane and cores with working edge: 12 pes. (Figs. 11:3, 5; 12: 4, 6) ; Measures between 70 and 30, resp. 40 and 24 mm. The technique is a zig-zag lined, S-shaped working edge, made with a varying, rough, forming retouch, eventually sharpened afterwards with a fine retouch. III. Retouched and unretouched splitted pebbles: 13 pes. Slices, segments, quartered pebbles, some of them with a finely finished working edge. Their length varies between 31 and 89, their width between 12 and 65 mm. G) Points: 1 pc., 0,4% (Fig. 6: 6). A small arrowhead made of obsidian. Measures: 8x14 mm. Finely worked leaf-shaped points, characteristic for other sites of the Eger culture, are completely lacking. H) Burins - borers, 43 pes., 17,7% I. Burins are the richest, most typical tool group of the site. Some fine, typical specimens would fit to every Upper Palaeolithic tool assemblage. Produced on flakes or blades, the edge of the implement may be worked or not retouched, the working edge of the burin was produced mainly by detaching the chippings of the burins. a) burin terminal or dihedral: 9 pes. (Figs. 8: 1-2, 4-5; 9: 8) ; Measures between 48 and 25, resp. 32 and 15 mm. b) angle burin or burin on brake and on truncation: 21 pes. (Figs. 8: 6-8; 9:2,5-6, 7,9). Their length varies between 15 and 65 mm, their width between 11 and 35 mm. c) double burin: 6 pes. (Figs. 7: 7; 8:3; 9: 1 ) ; various combinations of burins of types a) and b), both on flakes and blades. Measures between 52 and 29, resp. 24 and 12 mm. d) burin on core: 3 pes. one of them typical : 47 X 50 mm (Fig. 10:3) ; two with uncharacteristical atypical working edge: 51 Xl8 mm and 35x20 mm.
