of Hajdúsámson type (Fig. 10, no. 7 - after A. Mozsolics), 3 4 or even the socalled dagger-swords known from the Koszider type hoards either (cf. Fig. 10, no. 8)} 3 3 In the Tiszafüred cemetery of the Füzesabony culture some "wooden-hilted" bronze daggers of a hitherto unknown type in Hungary came to light (Fig. 10, nos. 2-4). M Their common feature is a haft plate starting from the centre of the shoulder. The shoulder parts of the daggers with central ribs, found in Graves B r, 7 and B 10 7, broaden on both sides and break in angles (Fig. 10, nos. 2-3). It is a remarkable fact that the six rivets on the shoulder of the dagger, found in Grave Bi 0 7, make a straight row. As for the present we know no exact counterparts of the Tiszafüred daggers in Hungary; their prototypes are probably to be sought in 3 4 Ibid. 49sqq. 3 5 Bóna, I., Acta Arch.Hung. 9(1958) 235; Mozsolics, A., Bronzefunde etc. 51-52. 3 S Excavations between 1965 and 1972 on the territory of cemeteries, belonging to the tell settlement Tiszafüred-Ásotthalom, yielded, among others, more than 600 graves of the Füzesabony culture.
