Megbeszélés A napjainkban használatos denzitometriai eljárásoknak alapvető szerepük van a csontokat érintő, ásványianyag-tartalom megváltozásával járó megbetegedések, kiemelten a népbetegségként számon tartott osteoporosis diagnosztikájában. Ezek az eljárások az állcsontok területén csak nagyon korlátozott mértékben vagy egyáltalán nem alkalmazhatók. Elterjedtek azonban a fogászati röntgenfilm felhasználásával kivitelezhető optikai denzitometriai módszerek. Az ilyen okból végzett vizsgálatok eredményei alapján adódik a lehetőség, hogy a fogorvos is részt vegyen az osteoporosisban veszélyeztetett betegek kiválasztásában. További, saját vizsgálataink az OP-felvétel erre a célra történő felhasználását célozzák. Irodalom 1.
