Gáspár, L. D r. and S z о b ó, G y. D r.: Effectiveness of the advantages and drawbacks of the employment of the CO? laser in oral surgery

Experiences of 548 oral surgical laser operations are summarized. It is particularly important the hemostatic effect of the laser, it was experienced in the course of operation of patients suffering from haemangioma in 90 cases, naveus flammeus in 17 cases, and clotting troubles in 14 cases. In order to save sound tissues various laser surgical methods (coagulation, vaporization, excisio) have been employed, after the operations the presence of oedema, pain, inflammation, wound heeling troubles, cicatrization were minimum. By the method functions of the mouth acvity can well be preserved. After a laser treatment the proportion of recidives was less than 8%, after the second one it was 1.1%. Economically, a laser treatment is advantageous since falling out of work of the patients is minimum. It is stated that C02-laser is expressly suitable for treating: leukoplakia, haemangioma, epulis, granuloma fissuratum, naevus flammeus.

3. Miniatürlemezes osteoszintézis. Szájsebész szakorvosok számára (4 napos tanfolyam, műtői gyakorlattal). Időpont: a jelentkezők számától függően, április—május hónapban, megbeszélés szerint. A tanfolyam díja: 4000,— Ft.
