Экспериментальные исследования автора устанавливают богатую цереброспинальную инънервацию десневых тканей и слизистой оболочки рта. Десна является более чувствительным остеальной слизистой оболочки. Меньше всего чувствительная переходная складка. От фронтальной участки в дистальное направление чувствительность постепенно снижается. Щечные и небные—язочные поверхности десны являются в равной мере чувствительным. Мукоза слизистой оболочки рта оказывается во всех точках чувствительным.

Prof. В. Simon: jüensitivness of the oral mucous membrane.

Autor states, on base of experimental studies, that the gum and the oral mucous membrane are tissues plentifully supplied with nerves of cerebro-spinal origine. He states that the gum is more sensitive than the osteal mucous membrane, and the latter is more sensitive than the mucobuccal fold. The sensitiveness of each of these areas reaches its highest degree next to the median line, and decreases distally. The sensitivity is equal in the corresponding buccal-palatal and buccal-lingual areas respectively. The submucosa is found scarcely sensitive compared to the mucosa. As regards the Kiesow zone the author could not find any insensitive point on the oral mocous membrane.
