Kismaros Village Museum Foundation • Kismarosi Falumúzeum Alapítvány Profilé: With the support of the local authority, the Kismaros Village Museum Foundation collects, arranges, conserves, stores and exhibits valuable Swabian museum pieces (old appliances, documents, photographs, recordings, village farming tools, relics of local religious and cultural life, educational mementos etc.). With significant materials and voluntary work, a lot of restoration can be done to textiles, documents and wooden pieces. Together with the village council, at the beginning of 1998, the foundation published a volume called "Studies from the history of Kismaros". In 2000, the foundation issued a double CD called "Introduction to religious and everyday life of the early inhabitants of Kismaros", informing the public about our village's musical and everyday life. The foundation has a sizeable and well-displayed digitalised photo collection.
