The open-air theatre's season lasts from the middle of June to the end of August, with performances every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. When the programme for the summer is put together, the deliberate objective is to bring to stage excellent productions in every theatrical genre. Other initiatives include: the Festival of all the Arts, the series of old and folk music productions entitled "The Hungarian Musical Heritage", and various exhibitions.
