Tanulmányok Prokopp Mária 70. születésnapjára The Reformed Church in Palágykomoróc The church of the settlement in the Ung valley was built at the end of the 13th century. The two-storey tower above its western facade has coupled windows and a galleried wooden spire with shingles. The seigniorial gallery below the tower has a vaulted central space surrounded by pillars that support the tower. Researchers have recovered fragments of 13- I4th-century figurái frescos on the walls of the nave. Having taken over the church, the Reformed Church plastered it. Now the interior of the church—one of the most beautiful relics of Romanesque church architecture—is decorated with frescos dating from various periods. 79
