190. The wrought-iron cross before the Szent Rozália (St. Rose) Chapel in the corner of Dobogókői Road and Kálvária Road stands at the place of a former stone cross. The former cross was there in 1846, the present cross carries a painted corpus. The original cross was erected by the widow of István Pathó. She also established a 22 Fts found. The later cross was renovated in 1998. 191. A stone cross was erected in the Víziváros Plot of the Szentgyörgymező cemetery in 1866, form the amount left to the Szentgyörgymező Parish by the will of Anna Kelecsényi, the widow of Simon Vlankovits. The will was signed on 21 May, 1850. The cross was cleaned and renovated after World War II. 192. János Harrer and his wife erected a marble cross among the vineyards, in Mély Road. At that time Haller was a prosperous merchant, his house stood on the main market (today Széchenyi Square). 193. In front of the City Centre Parish stands the cross erected by Antal Pór. There is a painted corpus 011 it. The inscription says: To the memory of the holy missions in the years 1854 and 1882. 194. There was a stone cross overgrown with bushes in Kusztusi Road, beside the fourth dry stream, near the branch off towards Mexico (see the translator's declaration!). The inscription can only be read partly: ...Görgy, i860. The inscription was destroyed by the weather so we may not know by whom and when it was erected. It was still there in 1997, but by April 1999 it has gone. Its place was completely overgrown with bushes. An article was published in the 17. number of Esztergom és Vidéke. We can find a stone plate at the place of the former cross, but it refers to the Holop Well. 195. Going further on Kusztusi Road towards »Fári kút« (Fári Well) we find another cross. The cast-iron corpus is still there, probably because it was not made of bronze. There is a fragmental statue under the cross, and under this statue there is a statue of Holy Mary. The inscription on the pedestal on the lower third of the cross can hardly be read: Ad... Verloc... György i860... zcendej .tette. If we try to fill in the gaps, the English translation would read as follows: Made by György Verlóczkv in i860. Weather troubled very much this more than a hundred year old sandstone cross. The corpus is covered with rost and smaller and bigger pieces crumbled away form the cross and the statues.
