In 1994 László Czeglédi, head of the new logistics department, also left the company, whereupon Dr. Géza Szalóczi moved from the legal department to head logistics. There has been no change at the top of the technical department; Tibor Tarnóczi successfully carried through investments worth billions of forints. Outstanding achievements on the part of employees have been acknowledged twice over the five years of Philip Morris: in 1994, from the Eger factory Mrs. János Veres, Compensation and Benefit Manager, Dr. Mrs. László Lékó, QA Manager, Tibor Tarnóczi, Technical Manager, Dr. Géza Szalóczi, Legal Manager, Árpád Könye, Marketing and Key Account Manager, Ildikó Tóth, Marketing Manager, and Tibor Körösi, Sales Manager all received the prize of the President of Philip Morris International Inc., William H. Webb, for their work in the period after privatization. In 1996, the company introduced a new recognition system. At the yearopening celebration twenty people received awards for their outstanding achievements over the previous year. We are proud to comply with the strictest quality standards.
