SÁNDOR JÓZSEF A I1ÓCSAPADÉK ÉS A HAVAS NAPOK ALAKULÁSA A BÜKK HEGYSÉGBEN ABSTRACT: (The Configuration of the Snowfall and the Number of the Snowy Days in the Biikk-mountains) In our paper we studied the configuration of the snowfall and the snowy days in the Biikk-mountains. Over the examined area we studied the data of 18 check-pointe where measurements had been done for 14 years previously. Concerning the height levels based on the data the snowfall was presumed as dependent variable and the snowheight as independent variable. Stochastical nature was revealed between the pairs of variable, that is to say between the coordinates. The number of the snowy days increases with 8,5 days/

The result show that the most snowy days are in the Biikk-mountains in winter which provide good sporting possibilities for people who want to enjoy winter sport. 1. Vizsgálataink célja és a felhasznált módszerek Hazánkban a csapadék eloszlásában kettős hatás tükröződik egyrészt a tengertávolság — nyugatról kelet felé jelentősen csökken a csapadék — másrészt a tengerszint feletti magasság hatása, ugyanis a tengerszint feletti magasság növekedésével — bizonyos magasságig - növekszik a csapadék mennyisége. A hegységeknek a csapadékra gyakorolt hatását közismert fizikai okok, törvényszerűségek idézik elő.
