Molnár SUMMARY The authors seek to find and work out such ways and methods of teaching the subject mentioned in the title which would contribute more effectively to the development in our student-teachers of the ability of deeper thinkig in terms of the science of Organic Chemistry and would lead to an even more positive approach to it. With this aim in mind we have introduced more seminars; during our practical lessons we use colour-slides, as well as various foils with illustrations. We also try to improve the effectiveness of instruction by selecting the most appropriate examples and also by modelling the various processes. The results achieved so far are quite promising. 889
