With the arrival of Fall, church life in the Woodbridge, New Jersey congregation has resumed with meetings and activities. In the last few Sundays, we have focused on "The Hymns we love to sing" and their message to our everyday life. At the end of October we have commemorated the 494th anniversary of the Reformation with a special service. On November 5th the combined group of the Lorantffy Women's Guild and Ladies Guild of the former John Calvin Magyar Reformed Church hosted a special "Tricky Tray"fund raiser with much success. On November 20th the last Sunday of the Christian Year, as it has been the tradition of the Church we celebrated "Christ the King" Sunday with the dedication of the Memorial Plaque, posting the names of those who passed away during the last year. This year two very special and active church members name were added to the plaque, namely Mrs. Hilda Kelemen and Mrs. Rose Bartus. With the approach of the Advent season we shall focus on the right preparation for Christmas. We wish everyone a Blessed and Merry Christmas! Rev. Torok nj [n AMERICA IS GREAT BECA USE I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers, and it was not there; in the fertile fields and boundless prairies, and it was not there; in her rich mines and her vast world commerce, and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.- Anonymous __________________ I
