Koloman K. Ludwig GeneraI Secretary WOODBRIDGE, NJ NEWS Our Lenten journey as individuals and as Church has come to a close as we approached Holy Week in our congregation. The joyous journey with Jesus lasted another day as we joined with millions of believers and greeted our Master, as we commemorated His triumphant entry to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. Our Palms leaves were waving, our hymns joyfully declaring “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord”. Our joys have turned to sorrow, as we stood under the shadow of His cross of Good Friday. Our congregation remembered this event with a Tenebrae Service- A Service of Darkness. Upon the experience of last year, our members requested again to reenact the passion of our Lord with a service of Tenebrae. The joyous day of Easter arrived as the Lord has promised. The sanctuary was beautifully decorated with Easter lilies, donated by our members. Our hearts were filled with joy as we greeted each other with the traditional Easter greeting: “He has risen! For which he response came from the members: “He has risen Indeed” We realized that there is no greater joy in our life then having a Risen Savior- to accompany us on our road of life.
