Betsy Grace French Reed and Bruce Stanley Blomfield who were united in marriage on Wednesday, December 31, 2003, at the UCC Bridgeport. Their wedding was followed by a reception at Besse­mer Center. • “Our sincere thanks to all who helped to make our wedding and reception so wonderful. It was a great evening and we enjoyed our­selves enormously. Many of our guests have told us how much they enjoyed themselves and have expressed a hope that there will be another party next year. God bless you all.”- Betsy and Bruce Blomfield. • 100th Anniversary Event: A Hungarian cooking class will be held at 2:00 PM in the Bessemer Center kitchen on March 14. • April 1, Kolbász pick-up, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. • The congregation will hold a Spring Flea Market on April 3. WSHRC Cleveland. OH • The Installation Service of Rev. Zoltán Kelemen will take place on Saturday, March 6, at 1 PM, followed by a reception in their Calvin Center. Guests must call the church (216-476-3736) ahead of time for reservations. • On March 20 at 5:30 PM, there will be a Music Gala (Spring Tour with a Gypsy Orchestra). Donation with dinner is $36.00. The performance will feature comedian László Kokas, prima­donna Piroska Pandi, and lead violinist Antal Szalai. • On April 10 at 5 PM, there will be an Easter Concert in the Sanctuary with Choir and Orchestra. The concert will be fol­lowed by a dinner in the Calvin Center. Admission, tickets with dinner $15. HRC Columbus. OH • Warmest welcome to Rev. Zsolt Ötvös, who joined the Hun­garian Reformed Church in Columbus as their new pastor. He began his ministerial services there on January 1,2004. HRC Fairport Harbor. OH • March 21 is the Women’s Fellowship dinner: Beef stew, mashed potatoes, buttered carrots, and assorted pies. Reservation must be made by the weekent prior to the dinner. • Chalk Talk - Bob & Jacquie Wolf will share their Easter­­themed art presentation on March 28 at 6:00 PM. Refresh­ments will follow. • There will be a kolbász sale held at the church on April 3. • Our “Traditional Hungarian-American Cookbook”, newly printed, with new features is now available for $10.00 (pick-up) or $12.00 (with postage). “Hungarian Delights,” a smaller Hun­garian-American Cookbook was out of print, but is once again available for $3.50 (pick-up) or $5.00 (with postage).
