Louis Medgyesi, Bishop 607 Plum Street, Fairport Harbor, OH 44077 Tel/Fax: 440-352-9256 CALVIN SYNOD UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST SIXTY-SECOND ANNUAL MEETING MAY 23-26, A.D. 2000 CLEVELAND, OHIO The Annual Meeting of Calvin Synod will convene in a Service of Worship and Holy Communion, at the First Hungarian Reformed Church in suburban Walton Hills, Ohio, assembling Tuesday morning at ten o’clock. Its daily sessions will be held at the Holiday Inn nearby in Richfield, Ohio, and conclude at noon on Friday. The Rt. Rev. Louis Medgyesi, Bishop, will preside at the meeting. All Pastors of the Synod, and those serving in its pulpits for regular weekly services, are expected to attend, unless excused by the Conference Council for necessity. Every congregation is expected to send a Delegate, and may also designate an Alternate, with due notice to the Synod of their election and authorization attested by the Chief Elder and Consistory Secretary. Local churches shall reimburse the expenses of the Pastor and Delegate. The annual banquet on Wednesday evening will be held at the church, along with the celebration of the One Hundredth Anniversary of the Calvin Synod Herald - Reformátusok Lapja. Guests Welcome!
