On the 30th day of September 1979, we will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the building of our great cathedralstyle church on the hill-top of East Boulevard and Buckeye Road, which now is declared an historic and architectural Landmark. On Sunday, September 30, at 11 a.m. a solemn Thanksgiving Service will be held in our Sanctuary followed by a great Anniversary Banquet at 1:00 p.m. in our Bethlen Hall. Anniversary tickets are $7.50 per plate. This magnificent church with its 157 foot tower became a unique landmark of our city. Its beautiful Sanctuary served as an inspiring place of worship for thousands and also served as a unifying and motivating center for the neighborhood and for hundreds of members spread into the many suburbs of our ever changing Metropolis. Thirty years ago we built a Dream into reality much to the amazement of all around us. Now we pray to God to make us strong enough to build another Dream and move ahead into the future with vigor and creativity. First Hungarian Reformed Church has one of the closest, most active and most influential church families, not only in the city of Cleveland, but also throughout the whole of the Nation. We would consider it a great honor to have you with us at this great celebration. With warmest greetings in the name of the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Stephen Szabó, pastor Dr. Joseph Piri, chief-elder
