STILL VACANT CHURCHES: Columbus, Ohio; Coatesville, Pa.; Phoenixville, Pa.; interested persons should call Bishop Butosi. IN CLEVELAND, OHIO the First Church celebrated the Rt. Rev. Dr. S. Szabo’s 50 years in the ministry and 30 years in Cleveland on May 22. With the exception of Rev. Parragh, all members of the Council were present. Rev. A. Elek preached in Hungarian and Bishop Butosi in English. OUR HAMMOND CHURCH burned Phase I. Mortgage on May 15 and already planning their 70th Anniversary to be held on Sept. 18. The Rt. Rev. A. Beretz is the pastor. THE UNIONTOWN CHURCH BUILDING was recently sold. Thanks to the Rev. A. Jalso for his efficient work! IN NORWALK, CT. the Rev. Zoltán Szabó was installed by Bishop Butosi on June 12. (Since then Mrs. Szabó spent several weeks in the hospital with broken legs. Speedy recovery!) MRS. JOSEPH PIRI has also been hospitalized recently. She is now recuperating at home. Pray for her! NEW HUNGARIAN BIBLES are still available in the Bishop’s office ($10). FUNERALS: Rev. Victor Bodnar was buried on May 14 in Bethlehem, Pa. General Secretary F. Vitéz represented us. REV. ISTVÁN CSÁKÁNY’s cremated remains were buried in Rákoskeresztúr, Hungary on Apr. 29. Mrs. Csakany’s address: 1054 Budapest, Vecsey u. 4. (He served as a missionary in Africa and recently in Brazil.) BISHOP SÁNDOR RÁSKI was buried on July 16 in Miskolc, Hungary.
