Compiled by Francis Vitéz BERET! - ALLOW AY Miss Margaret-Louise Esther Beretz became the bride of Joseph Yarrow Alloway Sunday, September 2, 1973 at the 11:00 a.m. Divine Worship Service. The double ring ceremony was performed by the bride’s father, Bishop Arpad L. Beretz, in the Faith United Church of Christ, Hammond, Indiana. The church organist-choir director, Mrs. Ruth H. Bancsi, who is choral director at Fenger High School in Chicago, Illinois, rendered the following musical selections: “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” (Bach), “The Lord’s Prayer” (Malotte), “Praise, My Soul, The King of Heaven” (Lauda anima) and “Trumpet Voluntary” (Purcell). The choir sang “The Twenty-Third Psalm” (Matthews). The congregation sang the following hymns: “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee”, Psalm 25 “Szívemet Hozzád emelem”, “Love Divine”, and “O Perfect Love”. Miss Jillinda Molnár, a graduate of Purdue University and Chicago Conservatory of Music sang “The Song of Ruth.” A reception followed in the new church fellowship center catered by members of the Ladies’ Aid Society. The bride is the daughter of Bishop and Mrs. Arpad Beretz, 7520 Woodmar Ave., Hammond, Indiana. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Alloway, Cresskill, New Jersey. The couple is residing at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago where both are students. The new Mrs. Alloway is a graduate of Highland High School, Highland, Indiana. She also attended
