In our Sunday School our children and young people had the opportunity to study the Bible, our Confessions and grow in their faith. Our Sunday School needs more children. So, we need the cooperation of our parents . Their responsibility is to bring their children to Sunday School regularly and support our educational program. The organizations within our church were always willing to give us a helping hand. We wish to express our thanks to the members and officers of our organizations and committees for their contributions to our church. On November 18th, we honored our pastor, the Rev. Barnabas Roczey with a dinner. It was his birthday and he has been the minister of our congregation for the past twenty years. He was presented with gifts by the church, Women’s Guild, Sunday School, members and friends of our church. The dinner was attended by 180 people. There are 15 elders in the Church Council. Our officers are: John Samok, chief elder, Irene Danna and Stephen Dorko, vice chief elders, Evelyn Fodor, secretary, Paul Bodo, treasurer, and Zoltán Fodor, assistant treasurer. Hálás szívvel tekintünk vissza a 2001. évre, mert velünk volt a gondviselő Isten , Aki segített hitben való növekedésben, a szolgálatban és embertársaink iránti szeretetünkben. Az Ő Lelke vezette gyülekezetünk életét, gyűjtött össze vasárnaprólvasárnapra, hogy a gyülekezet közösségében dicsőítsük és magasztaljuk Istenünk szent nevét. Hűséges híveink rendszeresen részt vettek az istentiszteleteken. Több alkalommal végeztek szolgálatokat gyülekezeti tagok az istentiszteleteken, a lelkipásztor vakációja alatt pedig az istentiszteleteket is ők látták el. Az úrasztalát nyolc alkalommal terítettük meg, ahol lelkileg megújultunk, és onnan elmenvén nagyobb hűséggel és buzgósággal igyekeztük szolgálni Urunkat és egymást. A missziói szolgálatokat ebben az évben sokkal komolyabban vettük. Segítettünk a magyarországi árvízkárosultakon. Hozzájárultunk egy magyar református egyház új templomának a felépítéséhez Szent Mária helységben, Szlovákiában. Küldtünk adományt a helybeli Soup Kitchen-nek. Segítettünk azokon, akik elveszítették szeretteiket a szeptemberi terrorista támadásban. 160
