be with others who are not afraid to admit their common Christian backgrounds. This is not an all-inclusive list but it does show the direction that we are following. Where is Heritage Church in the big scheme of things? We don’t know for sure but we pray, it will never be said that we stood on the sidelines and let someone else do it alone. God’s continued Peace and Blessings upon you. Rev. Zoltán Sutto, Pastor KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN Hungarian Reformed Church Kalamazoo, Michigan Pastor: Rev. Janos Nagy Chief Elder: Mihály Csiszár The Hungarian Reformed Church of Kalamazoo has been and still is active. We are still carrying on a tradition of worshipping both in Hungarian and English since 1914. We host the Actual Meetings of the Western Classis, and continue to be active with the Calvin Synod without fail. Since August 1999 we have again been without a minister, as ours had to return to Hungary. We were able to continue to have our services with the help of supply ministers for which we were very grateful. During the summer we had Rev. Janos Nagy with us for one month plus a couple of weeks during the month of August. When we found out our minister could not return, we asked Rev. Nagy to come back from Hungary to be our minister. This did occur on November 18,2000. He came back with his wife Eszter and two little girls, Boglárka 5 and Emőke 2Vi. We sincerely hope and pray that with God’s help, Rev. Nagy will be able to help us grow in number in the next years. Even though we are few in number (17), we still were able to bring Rev. Nagy and his family here at our expense, repair our handicap ramp, do some other minor repairs to the church and parsonage. We look forward to the New Year with hope and knowledge that as we continue to serve our Master, He will be with us also. Rev. Janos Nagy, Pastor Mihály Csiszár, Chief Elder 85
