eight of four members to the care of our Father in Heaven. We also confirmed and engaged six of our youth to be disciples of our Lord and received three new members by Reaffirmation of Faith and one daughter of our Lord through adult baptism. Thus, the Church grew by two in numbers, having at the present 476 communicant and supporting members of our Congregation. In the Spring of 2000, the Concordia Choir of the Reformed Church of Slovakia, honored and delighted us with their singing in our Church. With their magnificent performance and artistry they really lifted our spirits, our aesthetical exultation toward a more befitting praise to our Lord. Nothing expresses more the appreciation of our community of the faith than the impressive number of the 383 persons attending. The banquet, following the service, was also a joy and great success due to the organizational skills of Elder Julius Pongracz and the committed, cheerful serving of the Youth Fellowship and many, many other decorating, cooking, shopping, helping and making it sure that everything will work out just fine. The other great joy of our Congregation is the commitment of more than a dozen and a half of our youth fellowship and their caring, guiding advisors. Our youth, by themselves, conducted three Sunday Worship Services and their witnessings were heartwarming and moving. Thanks and praise be to God! Rt. Rev. Zoltán Daniel Szucs, Pastor Concordia Choir banquet in the Church Hall at Lorain. From 1. to r.: Bishop Géza Erdélyi of Slovakia, Bishop Louis Medgyesi of Calvin Synod, Bishop Emeritus Zoltán Szucs and his wife Barbara. 81
