Being a Christian is not getting but giving. Giving of oneself, time, talents and our material possessions. We are but stewards of our Maker for all the blessings in our lives. What can we possibly give to God to redeem our lives and especially our eternal lives, if we ever forfeited it? This is our mandate as children of God. Yet reality is not quite the same.
