Közép Egyházmegye - Central Classis

Bible School and Michael Toth attended youth camp. Our church supported the mission project of Reverend Szőke as well as the work of the churches in our community. As a congregation, we responded to Arlene Csoman’s request to join in Operation Shoebox which gifts needy children around the world. The 110th Anniversary Celebration. Our church hosted the now annual Thanksgiving service of our community as well as the unity prayer service. During the last Sunday in Advent, we had our annual Christmas celebration given by our young people and children. In April Central Classis held its annual meeting in Beaver Falls and in May the women of the church attended the 48th Annual Women’s Conference. In May we also welcomed in our midst Rev. Eva Szabó from Slovakia. She and her daughter Reverend Szőke increased our Christian awareness of their tireless work and blessed ministry especially among young people. Our church was saddened when Jo-Ann Molnár, sister of our pastor, died after a long and courageous battle with cancer; we remember all in our circle of family and friends who died during the year. May God grant comfort and peace to all. Ilona Komjáthy, Pastor 58
