President Dózsa appreciated the fact that the majority of delegates understood the need for change; this is a time for unity; let us start a new chapter with new leadership and new vigor.

He then called upon Rev. Barnabas Roczey to administer the oath to the new Board of Directors. The newly elected Board members took their oath of office. Rev. Imre Bertalan, Sr. offered a bilingual prayer, remembering the past and asking for God’s blessing for the future.

Director Csikesz moved to bestow the honorary title on retiring members of the Board: Treasurer Virgulák, Secretary Csornán, V.P. St. Miklosy, Saltzer and Szucs. The motion was seconded by Director Morey. Unanimously approved with those receiving the honor abstaining.

With this the 36th Quadrennial Convention came to a close at 4:02 P.M.
